We are team Firefly (9064), affiliated with Albemarle High School in Charlottesville, Virginia. Our team was founded in 2014 as Nerds of the North. We are one of four teams here at AHS. Our team values creative thinking, ambition, efficient design, applying advanced logic, and conducting outreach within the community. Our team truly lives up to its name with there always being noise and excitement at meetings. We work to embody our mascot and generate fiery new talent in STEM and beyond through enthusiastic and fast-paced hands-on learning.
